Area Police Reports

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Kendra E. Hadden, 20, and Austin Kelly, 23, of Jamestown were charged with petit larceny. On Monday, officers responded to the Dollar General on West Third Street in Jamestown for a report of shoplifting. Officer located the alleged shoplifters in custody inside the store. Management reported to police that the suspects were observed placing store merchandise in a bag totalling $29.95. Both subjects were transported to Jamestown City Jail and are were being held pending their arraignment.

¯Tahj L. Jones, 25, of Meadville, Pa., was charged with being a fugitive from justice. Officers assisted Child Protective Services with a well-being check on Washington Street. Jones was located and had an outstanding warrant through Jamestown City Court. Jones also had an outstanding warrant from Crawford County, Pa. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail for arraignment.

¯ Kristen L. Pattison, 27, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, officers responded to the Dollar General on Foot Avenue in Jamestown for a report of shoplifting. Officers located Pattison in custody outside the store. Management reported to police that Pattison allegedly placed cosmetic items in a bag totalling $34. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail and was held on bail pending her arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ WESTFIELD – Joshua D. Swinehart, 23, of Westfield was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment on Sunday. Deputies responded to a physical altercation that had taken place. Swinehart allegedly was being disorderly at the Westfield residence. Another individual attempted to call 911, but was allegedly stopped from doing so and pushed to the ground. Swinehart was arraigned in town court and released to supervision of probation.

¯ POLAND — Anthony Anderson, 42, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies observed a vehicle driving erratically and making several lane violations in the town of Poland. The motor vehicle was stopped and upon further investigation Anderson was arrested.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ OLEAN — Jason Palmer Turek, 42, was charged with violating probation. On Jan. 26, Turek was taken to Cattaraugus County Jail where he was held.

¯ MCKEAN COUNTY — Adam D. Bachman, 23, of Smethport, Pa, was arrested on a Cattaraugus County warrant on Jan. 27. Bachman is being held pending arraignment.

¯ COLD SPRING — Bret M. Williams, 21, of Steamburg was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Williams was arraigned in Randolph Town Court and remanded to county jail in lieu of $5,000 bail and $10,000 bond, and is due back in Coldspring Court at a later date.
