JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Shu K. Lam, 52, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Police responded at 2:15 p.m. on Monday to 10 Linwood Ave. for a peace office request. Lam told officers he was trying to retrieve items from the property. A resident inside they had an order of protection against Lam to not make any communication. They resident said Lam had been texting and calling her for a week. Lam was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.

¯ Chloe B. Fries-Isaac, 23, of Jamestown, was charged with false personation and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Officers were on patrol and checked on a suspicious person in the area of South Main and Barker streets around 1 a.m. on Tuesday. Fries-Isaac allegedly provided a false name to officers and found to be in possession of a hypodermic instrument. She was transported to city jail.

¯ Joy S. Ryen, 46, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded around 9 p.m. on Monday to 124 Anderson St. for a domestic incident. It was found through an investigation that Ryen held the victim down while attempting to cover their mouth. The incident occurred in front of three children. Ryen was transported to city jail and held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

¯ James R. Hanson, 36, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI per se and two counts of failure to signal. Officers performed a traffic stop at 8:45 p.m. on Monday at Cross and Cresent streets for failure to signal two turns. Hanson was allegedly found to be driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

¯ Ricky J. Finch Jr., of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree possession of stolen property and second-degree harassment. Officers responded to Danielson Oil, 258 Crescent St., on Monday for a stolen vehicle complaint. A vehicle belonging to the company was located on River Street. Finch was found in the vehicle when they arrived. He was also found to be wanted on an arrest warrant. Finch was transported to city jail and held pending arraignment.

¯ Walter A. Wanamaker, of Jamestown, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers responded Wednesday at 10:22 a.m. to 107 McKinley Ave. for a domestic dispute. Wanamaker was found inside the residence, violating an order of protection. He was transported to city jail and held for arraignment.

¯ Brittany M. Hitchcock, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Officers conducted a traffic stop around 1 p.m. on Monday at Linwood Avenue and Martin Road. Hitchcock was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin and several needles. She was transported to city jail without incident. Officers were assisted by the Metro Drug Task Force.

¯ Suzanne G. Kelsey, 58, was charged with petit larceny. Officers were dispatched at 4 p.m. on Tuesday to Dollar General on Foote Avenue for a report of a female taking items from the store. Kelsey was found to have allegedly taken items without paying. She was taken into custody and held for arraignment.
