ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Mallory C. White, 25, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Officers were dispatched Sunday to a car in a ditch on Gerry Levant Road. Upon further investigation, White was found unconscious behind the wheel. Officers were able to wake White and take her into custody. She was released with citations and set to appear in Ellicott Town Court.

¯ Michael P. Loper, 47, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating with no headlamps and operating no tail lamps. Officers conducted a traffic stop Monday on East Main Street in Falconer after officers observed a vehicle driving without any lights on. Loper was arrested and released with traffic tickets and will appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ JAMESTOWN – Christopher J. Light, 37, was charged Monday with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana and third-degree possession of a weapon, multiple counts of criminal possession of weapons, unlawfully growing cannabis and third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine. Jamestown police observed Light operating a vehicle in the city. At the time, Light had outstanding arrest warrants from the town of Busti. He was stopped and allegedly found to be in possession of contraband and charged by Jamestown police. The arrest warrants issued by the town of Busti were a result of an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force on Nov. 15. After the warrant was executed by the task force and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s SWAT Team, the residence was found to have of a quantity of marijuana, a loaded Glock handgun, multiple loaded high capacity handgun magazines, a high powered rifle, two shotguns, growing marijuana and the element of a methamphetamine lab.
