JAMESTOWN POLICE

¯ Brandon K. Sorenson, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with several vehicle and traffic infractions, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while under the influence of drugs while Mallory C. White, 25, of Jamestown was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and second-degree harassment following ga traffic stop at 7:18 p.m. Sunday on North Main Street near 14th Street. According to a police report, officers reportedly saw a vehicle nearly hit the curb on the wrong side of the road on 17th Street and then nearly hit a parked vehicle before driving over the double solid lines into oncoming traffic on North Main Street. Police pulled the vehicle over. Sorenson was allegedly driving. Police report his learner’s permit had been suspended twice and that he was allegedly driving while impaired by drugs. White was allegedly belligerent with officers while the vehicle was towed away and continued to yell and swear at officers after being told by officers to stop. When police tried to arrest White for disorderly conduct. she reportedly resisted, spitting in the face of an officer and continued resisting while she was being placed in the back of the patrol car. Both White and Sorenson were taken to the Jamestown City Jail until they could be arraigned.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ Christopher Manns, 41, of Spencerport was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Sunday after he was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for allegedly speeding. Troopers report smelling marijuana coming from the car while speaking to Manns and finding a pipe with marijuana. Manns will be in Gerry Town Court later.

¯ Danielle Woodworth, 33, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on Saturday. Troopers report pulling Woodworth’s vehicle over for speeding on Interstate 86 in Stow for speeding and found her non-driver identification card revealed two suspensions. She was also allegedly wanted by the Jamestown Police Department for writing bad checks. Woodworth was charged by troopers and then taken to the Jamestown Police Department for the warrant. She will be in North Harmony Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

¯ Brianna C. Skuggen, 26, of Gerry was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding after she was pulled over at 10:38 p.m. Nov. 24 after her vehicle was pulled over on Lake Avenue in Brocton. She will be in Portland Town Court later.

¯ Shannon Jusko, 37, of Brocton was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and felony aggravated driving while intoxicated (Leandra’s Law) at 7:15 p.m. Saturday on Lake Shore Drive West in Dunkirk. According to a police report, deputies were called to a business in the town of Dunkirk to check on the well-being of a woman. The woman then left the area in a vehicle. Deputies found the vehicle and found that Jusko was allegedly driving while her ability was impaired by drugs and while a child under the age of 16 was allegedly in the vehicle. She was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail.

¯ John L. McLaughlin Jr., 47, of Irving was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 11:30 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, deputies responded to a home on Main Road, Irving, for a reported disorderly person. McLaughlin was arraigned in Sheridan Town Court and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. He will be in Hanover Town Court later.
