¯Alfredo R. Diaz, 54, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with petit larceny and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. At 4:10 p.m. officers were dispatched to investigate a shoplifting complaint that occurred at Rite Aid on North Main Street. Officers located the suspect, later identified as Diaz, who fled the scene when officers attempted to stop him. Diaz was located shortly after and taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail.

¯Toni Lynn Hubbard, 21, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with first-degree criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree assault. At 7:19 p.m. members of the Jamestown Police Department were dispatched to 237 Crescent Ave. for a reported domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers learned that Hubbard had grabbed a male victim by the throat, punched him multiple times and bit him on the arm. Hubbard also attempted to shove the victim down a flight of stairs while holding a six-month child in her arms. Officers learned that there is a valid order of protection for Hubbard to remain from harassing the victim. Hubbard was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where she is awaiting arraignment on the aforementioned charges.
