¯ On Saturday, Jason Green, 37, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated – Leandra’s Law and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child because two children were reportedly in his vehicle. Troopers received a complaint of an erratically driving vehicle in southern Chautauqua County and pulled the vehicle over on Buffalo Street Extension in Jamestown after observing similar violations. The driver, identified as Green, was charged after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests. Green was taken to the State Police at Jamestown barracks, where he allegedly provided a breath sample of .15. Green was processed, arraigned in the Sherman Town Court and released on his own recognizance. Green will be in Ellicott Town Court later. The children were turned over to a relative at the scene.

¯ Thomas Echard, 39, and Austin Echard, 19, both of Kennedy, were charged Friday with for illegal discharge of a firearm. Troopers responded to a report of two people shooting in close proximity to the caller’s residence, later determined to be less than 300 feet, according to a police report. Both Echards will be in Poland Town Court later.


¯ Joshua S. Danielson, 36, of Bemus Point was charged with two counts of criminal mischief, unlawful imprisonment, second-degree menacing and second-degree burglary after a domestic incident at 1:51 a.m. Sunday at 1265 Newland Ave., Jamestown. According to a police report, Danielson entered a home without permission, restrained a woman in the apartment and prevented her from calling police by taking her phone away. Danielson also allegedly damaged an interior door during the incident and threatened the woman with a piece of the damaged door. Danielson was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.
