JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯Dylan S. Griffith, 27, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing following a domestic incident Sunday. At 2:23 p.m. officers were dispatched to 40 Bush St., where they made contact with Griffith and a female victim. Through investigation officers determined that Griffith displayed a sword and threatened the female during the incident. Griffith was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.
¯Justin A. Conklin, 19, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing and fourth-degree criminal mischief Saturday. At about 3 p.m. officers responded to 152 Baker St. for a reported domestic incident. After a through investigation it was found that Conklin had choked a female victim and held her against a door as she tried to leave. He also reportedly broke the victim’s phone when she tried to call for police. Conklin was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he awaits arraignment in Jamestown City Court on a later date.
¯A 17-year-old male Jamestown resident was charged Sunday with first-degree burglary, second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 1:42 p.m., officers responded to 224 Forest Ave. for a subject with a weapon. Officers spoke with residents of the neighborhood and were advised that a 17-year-old male had kicked in the apartment door and made entry while in possession of a baseball bat. While inside, the male threatened occupants of the residence and swung the bat at them. The male was located a short distance away from the scene and was taken into custody before being transported to Jamestown City Jail. No injuries were reported.
