JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ On Nov. 7, Savannah Martin, 24, of Warren, Pa., was charged with seventh-degree criminal possesion of a controlled substance. Officers observed a vehicle traveling south bound on Ivy Street with a loud exhaust. Upon conducting a traffic stop, the vehicle initially failed to comply. Once stopped, the officers determined that Martin, a passenger, was in possession of the controlled substance, suboxone. Martin was taken into custody and was transported to the Jamestown City Jail without incident. She was held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment through Jamestown City Court.

¯ On Nov. 8, Michael A. Davis, 33, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possesion of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without a license and operating without an ignition interlock device. At 1:15 a.m., officers patrolling the 400 block of Allen Street observed a white sedan being operated by Davis. He is known to officers to have only a revoked non-driver ID. Officers stopped this vehicle in that area and Davis was placed into custody for operating a vehicle with a revoked non-driver ID. and operating without an ignition interlock device. A search of Davis’ person revealed that he was also in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. Davis was transported to the city jail without incident and booked on the above listed charges. He is currently awaiting arraignment.

¯ On Nov. 9, Keith J. Seice, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with aggravated family offense, criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. At about 10:51 p.m., officers responded to a Crossman Street address for a report of a woman screaming for help. Upon arrival, officers observed Seice pinning a female victim down while she was screaming for help. Officers were able to take Seice into custody without incident. Further investigation revealed that before officers arrived, a domestic dispute also occurred inside the residence between Seice and the victim. It is alleged that during the domestic dispute, Seice slapped the victim multiple times and choked the victim. He was held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

¯ On Nov. 10, Danna R. Merritt, 35, of Warren, Pa., was charged with unlawful possesion of marijuana, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and DWI. At 2:41 a.m., officers observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way down East Second Street near Institute Street. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Merritt was allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol and was unlawfully in possession of oxycodone and marijuana, with oxycodone being a controlled substance. Merritt was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Merritt was held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment through Jamestown City Court.

¯ Bernard E. Mount, 36, was charged with resisting arrest. Officers on Friday observed Mount on West 13th Street around 1 p.m. and were aware he was wanted on warrants from Jamestown City Court, the Sheriff’s Office and Salamanca police. Following a brief foot pursuit, Mount was taken into custody without incident and held on the outstanding warrants.
