JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Jonathan M. Akers, 26, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated family offense and third-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded to 27 Price St. on Thursday at 4:15 p.m. for a reported domestic incident. An investigation determined Akers and a victim allegedly became involved in a verbal argument. Akers reportedly picked up a television and threw it through a rear window of a vehicle that belonged to the victim. Akers was transported to Jamestown City Jail.

¯ Matthew Woodard, 23, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated DWI per se with a BAC of more than .18 percent, DWI, inadequate headlights and parked on the pavement. According to police, a vehicle with significant front-end damage was parked in the eastbound driving lane of Jones & Gifford Avenue on Sunday just before 1 a.m. Concerned citizens contact police who then identified the driver as Woodard and alleged he was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Woodard was transported to city jail.

¯ Adam Lanphear, 44, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief. Around 2:30 p.m., police responded to the area of East Sixth at Fulton street to investigate a report of a female screaming. It was determined that the female was located at 412 E. Sixth St. and had been involved in a domestic dispute with Lanphear. Lanphear allegedly damaged items throughout the apartment and forcibly held the victim face-down on the bed while she attempted to call 911. Lanphear was apprehended after he attempted to run out of the rear of a rear basement door to the apartments. He was taken to city jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Arlene Garcia-Rivera, 34, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Police said Garcia-Rivera allegedly stole $80.92 in ink cartridges from the Wal-Mart in Lakewood on Tuesday. Garcia-Rivera was issued an appearance ticket to be in Busti Town Court at a later date.
