Area Police Reports


¯ Sam L. Critzer, 30, of Falconer was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, operating a bicycle with no lights and operating a bicycle with no horn. Officers observed Critzer operating a bike on Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. on Eagle Street in the road. Critzer was asked to stop, at which time he said no and attempted to get away. Officers were able to stop Critzer a few houses down and took him into custody. He was held before being arraigned in Jamestown City Court.


¯ NORTH HARMONY — Lars D. Nellbach, 21, of Boonville, New York, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, speeding in a 55mph zone and no/inadequate muffler. Officers stopped a vehicle on Wednesday around 12:20 a.m. for speeding on Route 394 in North Harmony. Nellbach was found to be driving while intoxicated. Nellbach was taken into custody and released to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.


¯ On Monday, Sept. 25, Alisha A. Klinger, 37, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny at 4:16 p.m. after she allegedly stole merchandise totaling $685.20 from the Lakewood Bon Ton. Klinger was located in the Chautauqua Mall parking lot with the merchandise and was taken into custody. Klinger was arraigned in the town of Busti Court and committed Chautauqua County Jail. She was held on $2,500/$5,000. She is due back in court on a later date.


¯ Christopher S. Byrne, 56 of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Officer were called on Sunday around 3:24 a.m. to a domestic dispute. Officers learned that Byrne allegedly held a female against her will and wouldn’t let her leave. Byrne was arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $1,500/$3,000 bail and was due to appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.


¯ RANDOLPH — Nathan Viglione, 31, of New Castle, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated. Viglione was stopped for speeding on Interstate 86 in Randolph. He was taken into custody and transported to police barracks in Jamestown for a breath test. Results showed his blood alcohol contest was .16 percent. He was arraigned in Randolph Town Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.

¯ ELLERY — Stephen Watson, 55, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fourth-degree of cannabis. Troopers were investigating an unrelated complaint when they were told that Watson was allegedly growing marijuana plants. Watson was later found to have 145 grams of marijuana, two marijuana smoking devices and three marijuana plants. Watson was taken into custody, processed and released with tickets to appear in Ellery Town Court at a later date.

¯ JAMESTOWN — Lori Robbins, 44, of Lakewood was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Robbins was stopped in a road check on Route 60 in Jamestown, and while speaking to Robbins, troopers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. Robbins was allegedly found to be in possession of 16 grams of marijuana and a pill bottle containing 6 grams of marijuana. Robbins was issued appearance and traffic tickets to appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.
