CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
¯ STOCKTON — Bobbie Jo Ostrom, 19, of Frewsburg was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign and unlicensed operator after a traffic accident at 3:51 a.m. Monday. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the reported traffic accident at the intersection of Munger Road and Route 380 in Stockton. During the investigation it was found Ostrom was allegedly driving on Munger Road and failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle crossed over Route 380 and struck a ditch. Ostrom and a female passenger were transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital by Stockton firefighters for evaluation. A male passenger was not injured. Ostrom will be in Stockton Town Court later.
¯ HANOVER — Martin J. Schenk, 29, of Hanover, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct at 3:45 p.m. Sunday. Deputies reportedly responded to Front Street in Hanover for a reported violation of an order of protection. Upon arrival, deputies allegedly saw Schenk running away from the location. After a foot pursuit, Schenk was apprehended and taken into custody. Schenk was arraigned in Hanover Town Court by Judge Pearl and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. He will be in Hanover Town Court later.
