CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ HANOVER — Kevin M. Kundla, 63, of Dunkirk, was charged with driving while intoxicated after deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on Pearl Street in the town of Hanover. The driver was identified as Kundla, and after a short investigation, he was allegedly to have been intoxicated. Kundla was subsequently taken into custody and later released with tickets for unsafe turn without signal, operating while registration revoked, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. He will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

¯ MAYVILLE — Mark E. Griswold, 55, of Clymer, was charged on Sept. 8 with driving while intoxicated after sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle for failing to keep right on Morris Street in the village of Mayville. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Griswold, and upon investigation, he was allegedly intoxicated. He was taken into custody and was later released with tickets to appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later day. Other charges include failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated per se and refusal to take a pre-breath test.

¯ STOCKTON — The Sheriff’s Office charged Joshua Burke, 29, of Stockton, on Tuesday with petit larceny after an investigation into property allegedly stolen from property on Bruyer Road in the town of Stockton in July. It’s alleged that Burke stole a generator from the property. He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in Stockton Town Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Adrian M. Estrada, 18, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Officers responded on Sept. 16 at 1:40 a.m. to the 200 block of East Second Street for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, it was learned Estrada had a valid order of protection to stay away from another individual and that Estrada allegedly grabbed the victim and kept the victim from leaving an apartment. Estrada was transported to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.

¯ Ryan D. Kulcsar, 31, of Irwin, Pa., was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing. Officers were called at 12:12 p.m. on Sept. 16 to a Bowen Street residence for an unwanted person. Kulcsar was found to have an active bench warrant through the Jamestown Police Department and was hiding inside a residence without permission. He was taken into custody for his warrants and later charged.
