JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Adam FJ Brown, 35, of Jamestown was charged on Aug. 7 with endangering the welfare of a child and first-degree criminal contempt. At 10:14 a.m., police responded to a Sampson Street address for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police learned that Brown became angry at his child’s mother because she refused to give him a ride. Brown allegedly threatened to destroy a vehicle with a golf club, got into a physical fight with an unrelated male and spit in his child’s mother’s face. All these actions were reportedly in front of his 7-year-old daughter. Brown fled the scene with his daughter, but was later apprehended. He is being held pending arraignment. Brown reportedly had a order of protection to stay away from the female victim.
¯ Terin L. Butler, 26, of Jamestown was charged Aug. 4 with fourth-degree criminal mischief, aggravated family offense, second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal obstruction of breathing. At 11:45 p.m., police responded to 131 Barrows St. for a reported physical domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police located a 20-year-old female who alleged that her boyfriend, Butler, grabbed her by the neck during an argument, ripped her backpack and spit in her face. Butler was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Doughshon L. Gholston, 42, of Jamestown was charged on Aug. 5 with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. At 2:24 a.m., police were on patrol in the downtown area when they noticed a suspicious male following a female. It is alleged the male, Gholston, was following a female that had an order of protection against him and the female was trying to get away from him. Gholston was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Wilfredo Castrillo, 40, of Jamestown was charged on Aug. 3 with second-degree criminal trespassing. Jennifer L. Aldrich, 38, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, second-degree criminal impersonation and second-degree criminal trespass. At 5:38 p.m., police responded to 207 Spring St. Apt. 21 for a trespass complaint. Officers located Castrillo and Aldrich inside, both of whom reportedly did not have permission to be in the apartment. In the course of the investigation, Aldrich allegedly gave officers a false name and was found to have methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana. Both were taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Michael T. Perez, 24, of Jamestown was charged om Aug. 4 with first-degree contempt, resisting arrest and two counts of second-degree harassment. At 12:32 a.m., police responded to Crown Street for a reported fight in the street. It is alleged that Perez engaged in a verbal argument with a victim and proceeded to threaten the victim with physical harm while an order of protection was in effect. Perez allegedly struggled with officers during his arrest and spit on an officer while en route to the city jail. He was taken to the jail to await arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ John C. McDonald, 41, of Ashville was charged on Aug. 5 with speed in zone, aggravated driving while intoxicated per se and DWI. At 12:19 a.m., police pulled over McDonald for allegedly speeding on East Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
¯ Cassandra M. Cole, 24, of Jamestown was charged on Aug. 4 with petit larceny. At 4:53 p.m., Cole was charged after allegedly under-ringing several items valued at $90.63 at the self-checkout at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
¯ Joel Arroyo, 21, and Jasmine Arroyo, 20, both of Jamestown, were charged on Aug. 5 with petit larceny. At 2:20 p.m., Joel Arroyo and Jasine Arroyo stole $152.25 and $48.60 worth of items from the Lakewood Wal-Mart, respectively. They were scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
