JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Noel Luciano, 36, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 8:32 p.m., police responded to 348 Falconer St. for a possible order of protection violation. It is alleged Luciano was hiding in a closet of the protected person’s home. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Garry B. Blankenship, 34, of Jamestown was charged Monday with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 4:33 a.m., police responded to Rite Aid on South Main Street for a reported shoplifting. It is alleged Blankenship possessed a quantity of methamphetamine, Lorazepam pills and Suboxone. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ A 17-year-old male was charged Monday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 8:30 p.m., police were in the area of the 800 block of Prendergast Avenue, when they reportedly observed an unrelated argument. Further investigation revealed that a 17-year-old male was allegedly in violation of an order of protection issued out of Jamestown City Court. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Robert A. Yates, 27, of Jamestown was charged Monday with five Jamestown City Court warrants, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest. At 10:52 a.m., Yates was seen mowing a lawn in front of 128 Water St. Police knew Yates had several bench warrants and attempted to serve them. Upon seeing police, Yates allegedly fled on foot into his residence and hid. Officers set up a perimeter and were granted entry by a female residing there. Police located Yates hiding under a blanket in the attic. He allegedly resisted arrest. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Tammy A. Crawford, 39, and a 16-year-old female, both of Jamestown, were charged Monday with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal trespass. At 12:40 a.m., police responded to 174 Barrows St. on a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police discovered that Crawford and a 16-year-old allegedly entered the property of another person and struck an individual inside during an argument. Both individuals were taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Ann M. Morse, 35, was charged Sunday with petit larceny. At 3:43 p.m., police responded to 50 S. Main St. (Rite Aid) for a shoplifting complaint. It is alleged Morse stole several items in her purse. She was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
¯ Jenna R. Crouch, 26, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with fugitive from justice. At 4:30 p.m., Crouch, who was located at the city jail, was allegedly found to have a warrant for a probation violation out of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania.
