Jamestown Teen Seriously Injured In Tuesday Car Crash
A 19-year-old Jamestown man was seriously injured Tuesday after reportedly speeding on slick city roads and crashing into two parked vehicles.
Shortly after 9 p.m., Joshua M. Verrett was allegedly seen driving “in a manner inappropriate” for the road conditions on Falconer Street near Thayer Street, according to Jamestown police.
Verrett was injured when he collided into two parked vehicles on Falconer Street. He was taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA and later transferred to UPMC Hamot for treatment.
Verrett was charged with various vehicle and traffic violations. An investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
The Jamestown police were assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Team.
