ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Lynne A. Lewis, 22, of Jamestown was charged with shoplifting Sunday after allegedly stealing items from Wegmans on Fairmount Avenue. Lewis was scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

¯Marvin G. Colon, 23, of Jamestown was charged with harassment on Feb. 14 after allegedly making verbal threats toward an employee at the Burger King on Fairmount Avenue. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

¯Susan M. Smeragliuolo, 51, was charged on Feb. 10 with driving at unsafe speed, open containers of alcohol in vehicle and DWI. After police responded to a vehicle accident on Willard Street Extension, they observed Smeragliuolo in an overturned car. She was freed and taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA for non-life-threatening injuries. Investigation determined she was allegedly intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Joshua Z. Crandall, 24, of Mayville was charged Tuesday with DWI, DWI per se, no/inadequate exhaust and no/inadequate plate lamp. At 2:51 a.m., police pulled over Crandall on Elm Street in Westfield for alleged muffler and plate lamp violations. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯POMFRET–Gregory R. Rosier, 51, of Jamestown was charged Monday with failure to dim headlights and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 8:41 p.m., deputies pulled over Rosier for an alleged traffic infraction on Route 60 in Pomfret. It is alleged that Rosier had revoked driving privileges. He was scheduled to appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

¯DUNKIRK–Michael G. Korytko, 36, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, driving while ability impaired with drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 6:12 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle complaint on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover. The driver, Korytko, was pulled over for alleged traffic violations. He was allegedly impaired by drugs. He was scheduled to appear in Dunkirk City Court at a later date.

¯CLYMER–David L. Lindsey, 51, of Corry, Pa., was charged Monday with speeding and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 11 a.m., deputies pulled over Lindsey for allegedly speeding on Route 474 in Clymer. It is alleged that Lindsey had suspended driving privileges for failing to appear in court for previous traffic tickets. He was arraigned in Clymer Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.

¯SHERIDAN –Jason E. Hooper, 41, of Eden was charged on Feb. 11 with DWI, DWI per se, speeding and moving from lane unsafely. At 8:47 p.m., deputies pulled over Hooper for alleged traffic infractions. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Sheridan Court.

¯SHERIDAN–Janetta L. Jenner, 33, of Silver Creek was charged Monday with DWI, DWI per se and speeding. At 9:01 p.m., deputies pulled over Jenner for allegedly speeding on Route 20 in Sheridan. It is alleged that Jenner was intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in Sheridan Court.

¯SHERIDAN–Jeffrey T. Jamison, 30, of Fredonia was charged on Feb. 5 with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. At 1:55 a.m., deputies pulled over Jamison for allegedly speeding on Route 20 in Sheridan. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Sheridan Court.

¯FRENCH CREEK–Michael S. Gibbons, 46, of French Creek was charged Sunday with DWI, DWI per se, felony aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to stop at a stop sign and unregistered motor vehicle. At 1:36 a.m., deputies pulled over Gibbons for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign on Griffin Road in French Creek. It is alleged that Gibbons was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in French Creek Court.

¯ELLERY–Kara R. Morris, 27, of Panama was charged Monday with DWI, DWI per se, driving the wrong way on a one-way street and unregistered motor vehicle. At 9 p.m., deputies pulled over Morris for allegedly driving the wrong way on a one-way street. She was allegedly intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

¯BROCTON–Deneen J. Riforgiato, 52, of Brocton was charged Monday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating with a suspended registration. At 1:07 a.m., deputies pulled over Riforgiato for allegedly driving with a suspended registration. It is alleged that Riforgiato also had a suspended license. Riforgiato was scheduled to appear in Brocton Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯COLD SPRING–Mary Butler, 58, of Gerry was charged Monday with third-degree criminal mischief. While at a private residence in Steamburg, Butler, following an argument with other individuals at the location, allegedly scratched a 2011 Toyota with a rock, causing more than $250 in damage. Butler was arraigned in Cold Spring Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.

¯ELLICOTT–Jennifer Rager, 40, of Williamsport, Pa., was charged Sunday with aggravated DWI. Troopers responded to Interstate 86 in Ellicott for a report of a vehicle that was driving east in an erratic manner. Police located and pulled over the suspect vehicle driven by Rager. It is alleged Rager had a blood alcohol content of .25 percent. She was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.

¯ELLICOTT-Jason Dustin, 44, of Kennedy was charged Saturday with DWI and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Dustin was pulled over on West Main Street in Falconer for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that he was intoxicated while having two passengers under the age of 16. Dustin was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date. The children were turned over to a family member.
