JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Steven R. Michelson Jr., 42, was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal mischief. At 8:04 a.m., police responded to 6 Hedges St. for a male reportedly stabbed. Police arrived at the scene and observed Michelson cut and bleeding, and a front window to the house shattered. It is alleged that Michelson and a female victim were in an argument, which led to Michelson jumping through the window and breaking it. He was taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA for treatment and later to city jail.

¯Paul M. Otto, 26, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with third-degree criminal mischief. At 11:57 a.m., police responded to 59 Prospect St. for a reported domestic incident. It is alleged that Otto threw a RCA tablet against a wall and broke it. The tablet belonged to a female victim. He was taken to city jail.

¯Mathew L. Brown, 18, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. At 2:50 a.m., police responded to West 7th Street for a physical domestic incident. Upon arrival, police spoke with a pregnant female victim who alleged that Brown pushed her down and then headbutted her while she was holding a small child. The victim also alleged that Brown broke a cellphone in an attempt to prevent her from calling help. The victim was taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA as a precaution. Brown was apprehended and taken to city jail.

¯Ronnie Gray, 38, was charged Sunday with second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault. At 11:16 p.m., police responded to 509 Newland Ave. for an open 9-1-1 line with people yelling in the background. Upon arrival, police could hear yelling from the second-floor apartment. Police were met by an individual who said there was an altercation in the apartment. Upon entering, police observed Gray over top of a female on the bedroom floor. It is alleged that Gray obstructed the female’s breathing, causing her to become unconscious. Gray also allegedly punched the victim several times and pulled out large handfuls of the victim’s hair. He was taken to city jail.

¯Antonio Sanders, 27, of Jamestown was charged Monday with criminal obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated Family Offense. At 8:15 a.m., police responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 101 Lakeview Ave. Apt. 4. It is alleged that Sanders choked a female victim while holding a 1-year-old child in his arm. Sanders was located at a different address and taken to city jail.

¯Robert C. Higgs, 35, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment. At 12:39 a.m., police responded to a reported physical domestic dispute. It is alleged that Higgs forcibly restrained a female victim. He was located a short distance away and taken to city jail.

¯Thomas Fisher of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, parking on a highway, unlicensed operator and aggravated DWI. At 2:22 a.m., police responded to 249 S. Main St. for a reported disorderly female. Upon arrival, police spoke with Fisher who stated he was the designated driver. It is alleged that Fisher was intoxicated. He was taken to city jail.

¯Lavern L. Riley, 35, of Jamestown was charged Friday with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny. At 1:02 p.m., police responded to 212 W. 6th St. for a reported disorderly person. It is alleged that Riley forced his way into an apartment by kicking the door, damaging it and stealing a flat screen television from the victim’s apartment. Riley is pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

¯Brandon L. Hogue, 24, of Jamestown was charged on Feb. 14 with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing/blood circulation and aggravated Family Offense. At 9 a.m., police responded to East Second Street for a reported physical domestic dispute that occurred at a Crescent Street address at 7 a.m. Upon arrival, police spoke with a female victim who alleged that her boyfriend, Hogue, choked her to the point of slight petechiae and punched her several times. The victim managed to get away from Hogue and call police at a different location. Hogue was located and taken to city jail. He reportedly had a prior domestic violence conviction in the previous five years, which levied an additional charge of aggravated Family Offense.

¯Jason E. Kennedy, 39, of Mayville was charged on Feb. 14 with fugitive from justice. At 8:18 a.m., Kennedy was charged after violating probation. He was reportedly wanted on several charges stemming from leaving the scene of an accident. He was scheduled for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

¯Colleen M. Heffner, 27, of Jamestown was charged Friday with failure to stop at a stop sign, refusal to take pre-screen, unlicensed operator, DWI and aggravated DWI. At 2:16 a.m., police pulled over Heffner for allegedly failing to stop at a red light in the area of 19 S. Main St. It is alleged that Heffner was intoxicated. She was taken to city jail.

¯Renee L. Steele, 23, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At 5:45 p.m., police responded to Rite Aid at 50 S. Main St. for a reported shoplifter. It is alleged that Steele stole cosmetics from the store. She was taken to city jail.

¯Quinncey King, 39, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and no/inadequate turn signal. Heather M. Crilley, 32, of Ashville was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At 2:16 a.m., police pulled over King in the area of West 8th Street and Rose Alley. King allegedly had a valid bench warrant issued by Jamestown City Court. In addition, his driving privileges were allegedly suspended due to a previous alcohol-related incident. His passenger, Crilley, allegedly had a dagger knife. Both were taken to city jail.

¯Bobby R. Mount, 34, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. At 8:10 a.m., police responded to 15 Chapin St. to assist Parole with a combative person. Mount was reportedly in custody for a New York State Parole warrant. It is alleged Mount physically resisted arrest and commanded his dog to attack officers. He was taken to city jail.

¯Travis J. Yates, 24, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with four outstanding bench warrants, second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated Family Offense. At 10 p.m., police responded to a Water Street address for a reported unwanted person. Upon arrival, police learned the subject, Yates, was hiding the attic and and had several outstanding warrants. He was found and apprehended. Further investigation revealed Yates allegedly had a valid order of protection requiring him to stay away from the tenant of the residence. He was taken to city jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Angela I. Little, 39, of Randolph was charged Friday with petit larcent and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 1:30 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting complaint at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. It is alleged that Little stole multiple items and under-rung several other items. It is also alleged that Little possessed two different types of controlled substances. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

¯Nathan L. Kelwaski, 24, of Ashville was charged Saturday with DWI, DWI per se, improper turn, failure to keep right, crossing hazard markings and uninspected motor vehicle. At 2:33 a.m., police pulled over Kelwaski for a number of traffic violations. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

¯Kristina D. Joy, 31, of Jamestown was charged on Feb. 5 with driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, loud exhaust and crossing hazard markings. Aaron R. Porter, 29, of Jamestown was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument. At 10:23 a.m., police pulled over Joy for vehicle and traffic violations. It is alleged that Joy was under the influnce of drugs and in possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and multiple syringes. Porter allegedly had a hypodermic instrument. Both were scheduled to appear in Busti Court.
