Two More Charged In Warren Meth Bust

WARREN, Pa. — Two more people have been charged in relation to an alleged methamphetamine lab operation that was busted last week in Warren.

Leilani L. Lord, 38, of 118 1/2 N. Irvine St. was charged Monday with five felony counts of conspiracy – intent to manufacture controlled substances.

Courtney A. Chamberlain, 33, 42 Allegheny Drive, Warren, was charged Tuesday with seven felonies – possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a telecommunication facility, and five counts of conspiracy – intent to manufacture controlled substances – and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

According to the affidavits of probable cause, Lord and Chamberlain are accused of providing medication containing pseudoephedrine to Joshua M. Lambert, 29, Warren, and Joshua D. Wightman, 30, Warren. Lambert and Wightman face charges related to operating a meth lab.

In the affidavits, Warren County Drug Task Force officers report that a law enforcement database showed Lord purchased medication containing pseudoephedrine in Warren County in July, August, September, and twice in November, and Chamberlain bought similar medication in October, and twice each in September and November.

Both told investigators they “had purchased the medication containing pseudoephedrine to be used by Wightman and/or Lambert to manufacture methamphetamine,” according to the affidavits. Both also told police they purchased the medication only for use in making meth.

Chamberlain is also accused of selling meth to a confidential informant.

According to police, the informant met Chamberlain at her home on Oct. 4. The informant gave $140 to Chamberlain who said she would deliver the methamphetamine later, police said. They met later that day in North Warren and Chamberlain gave the informant a baggie containing a substance that police said tested positive for meth.

Lord was arraigned Monday before District Justice Glenn Carlson and taken to Warren County jail after failing to post $250,000 bail.

Chamberlain was arraigned Tuesday by District Justice Laura Bauer and taken to Warren County jail after failing to post $25,000 bail.

Preliminary hearings are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, for both cases.
