Jamestown Man Nabbed With Packages Of Crack Cocaine
A Jamestown man was charged Wednesday after police reportedly caught him with three packages of crack cocaine intended for sale.
Shortly before 6 p.m., Jamestown police officers attempted a street check of 20-year-old Maiker E. Anderson as he walked near the intersection of Foote Avenue and Chandler Street.
As officers approached, Anderson allegedly began running away. He was apprehended a short distance away.
Anderson was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and obstructing governmental administration. He was arraigned in Jamestown City Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
