Horrigan Says He Will Not Seek Another Term As County Executive
MAYVILLE — Vince Horrigan said tonight he will not seek another term as Chautauqua County executive.
Horrigan made the announcement tonight after his State of the County address in Mayville. The address was the fourth during his first, and now only, term as the top county official. His last day in office will be Dec. 31.
During tonight’s meeting, Horrigan said he’s proud of the work done during his tenure and plans to “keep the throttle on after burn” prior to his exit.
The county executive said he plans to spend more time with his family upon his departure.
