City Man Charged In Connection To Falconer Credit Union Robbery

FALCONER — A Jamestown man was charged Monday after allegedly robbing the Greater Chautauqua Federal Credit Union in Falconer.

According to the Ellicott and Jamestown police departments, Kyle R. Senear, 22, entered the credit union, located at 51 E. Main St., around 9:30 a.m.

Using Vaseline and tea bag grindings to simulate facial hair and disguise his face, Senear allegedly handed the teller a note advising of the robbery and then fled on foot with a large quantity of cash.

Police said Senear did not display a weapon during the robbery. He was located in the afternoon at a Jamestown residence and charged with second-degree robbery.

Police said the majority of money stolen has not been recovered and an investigation is ongoing.
