Manhunt Continues For Murder Suspect

Keith Robbins is the subject of a massive manhunt that began after he allegedly shot his wife, Shari Robbins, early Thursday. Police said Robbins is armed and dangerous.

Keith L. Robbins, the man wanted in connection to Thursday’s fatal shooting in the city remains at large, according to Jamestown police.

Captain Robert F. Samuelson, division commander of the Jamestown Police Department, said Friday that investigators are working on multiple leads, but have yet to discover Robbins’ whereabouts.

An aerial search was conducted Friday, but turned up nothing, Samuelson said.

Robbins, 36, is wanted in connection to the homicide of 36-year-old Shari Robbins, who was fatally shot at 9 Prospect St. on Thursday around 9 a.m.

The victim was a certified nursing assistant and worked at the nearby Hermitage Ministries.

Samuelson said Keith Robbins’ vehicle, a 2004 Ford F-250, was located on Woodworth Avenue a few hours after the incident, and likely parked at the location between 9 and 9:30 a.m.

Jamestown police and the New York State Police have since checked multiple locations in the city — including a 24 Woodworth Ave. residence where the vehicle was found — but to no avail.

Police believe Thursday’s shooting was not a random act and that the victim was specifically targeted. They continue to believe, however, that Robbins is armed and dangerous.

Robbins is described as 5-feet, 8-inches tall, weighing 175 pounds with hazel eyes and blonde hair.

Anyone with information can call Buffalo Crime Stoppers at 867-6161 and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Other information on the incident can be relayed directly to the Jamestown Police Department at 483-7537 or via the anonymous tip line at 483-8477.
