UPDATE: Police Investigating Shooting Incidents

Jamestown police announced Friday they are investigating two addition shooting incidents on the heels of a homicide Thursday morning that left one man dead and two more hospitalized.

Jamestown police are searching for a man dressed in black and wearing a ski mask who entered an apartment at 344 E. Fourth St. and fired a gun, missing an occupant.

Capt. Robert Samuelson said the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

On Thursday at 1:15 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Falconer and Thayer streets. Police learned two individuals reportedly fired at a vehicle driving by.

It’s unknown if the recent shootings are tied to Thursday morning’s homicide. Police are asking anyone with information to call their tip line at 483-8477.
