Stabbing Victim Appears At Fredonia State Police Barracks

FREDONIA – A stabbing victim reportedly showed up at the door of the New York State Police barracks at Fredonia around 4 p.m., Saturday.

The victim, who was not named, was airlifted by Starflight at the Alstar Ambulance station off Route 60 in the city of Dunkirk after appearing at the police station down the street in the town of Pomfret.

Scanner reports indicated the person was stabbed in the upper chest area.

State Police confirmed the incident and added the investigation is ongoing, although there is no public danger, as it was an isolated case.

A news release with additional details could be sent out as early as today.
