Annual JHS Battle Of The Classes To Benefit City Mission

Jamestown High School will hold its 39th Annual Battle of the Classes on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the McElrath gymnasium. The doors will open at 6 p.m.

Every year, the entire high school raises money for a local organization. Over the past 38 years, the Battle of the Classes has raised over $300,000. This year, all money from the Battle of the Classes will be donated to the UCAN City Mission.

The public is welcome to attend to support this worthy cause and cheer on a fun event. The cost to attend the Battle of the Classes is $1 pre-sale and $2 at the door. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased from any JHS class officer or advisor.

“The students chose the City Mission because they believe that it is a very worthwhile and needed service to help with the growing problem of homelessness in our community,” said Tony Dolce, JHS teacher and student organization advisor.
