Infinity To Host Jean And Friends

Infinity Visual and Performing Arts will host Barbara Jean and Friends at the Infinity Arts Cafe at 7 p.m. Friday for the Jazz at Infinity series. Barbara Jean will sing a variety of songs from the Great American Songbook accompanied by Dalt Berringer, Lloyd Howard, Dan Hull and Tim Clarke. Jazz at Infinity events are free due to support from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. The performances are also free and open to the public. Audience members of all ages are welcome. The Infinity Arts Cafe performance entrance is located at 300 E. Third St.

Church Holding Rummage Sale

The East Randolph United Methodist Church, 122 Church St., East Randolph, is holding a rummage and bake sale on Friday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is sponsored by the East Randolph United Methodist Women.

Ellington Church Sale On Friday

ELLINGTON — The Ellington United Methodist Church, 776 W. Main St., Ellington, will host a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and a bag sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Club To Host Dinner Saturday

FREWSBURG — The Frewsburg Lions Club will host a chicken and biscuit dinner on Saturday. All proceeds will benefit the Myers Memorial Library. The dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Firemen’s Blue Building, 25 Hazzard St., Frewsburg. The price for the meal is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 10 and children under 5 are free.

Fluvanna Open House Saturday

The Fluvanna Fire Department will participate in the sixth annual statewide RecruitNY weekend. The event looks to increase the number of volunteer firefighters. An open house will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and noon-7 p.m. Sunday at the fire department, 3536 Fluvanna Ave. Ext., Jamestown. The event will be held rain or shine. Hot dogs, hamburgers and soda will be available for free.

Sunday Benefit Planned Sunday

LAKEWOOD — A benefit for Linda McCray, wife of longtime Lakewood volunteer firefighter Jack McCray, will be held from 1-6 p.m. Sunday at Lakewood American Legion Post 1286, 174 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children and are available from any Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department member or at the legion. There will be music, giveaways and a Chinese auction.

Students To Hold Recitals At Cafe

Private lesson students from Infinity Visual and Performing Arts will be putting on a recital at the Infinity Arts Cafe on Thursday at 6 p.m. This event is free, family friendly and open to the public. Audience members of all ages are welcome. The cafe is located at 300 E. Third St.

Rabies Clinic Planned In May

A free rabies clinic will be held Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Cattaraugus County DPW Garage, 8810 Rt. 242, Little Valley. For more information call 701-3386.
