Bemus Point Man Caught With 37 Grams Of Meth, Stun Guns
MAYVILLE — A Bemus Point man was charged early Thursday morning after police found two stun guns and a horde of narcotics inside his vehicle.
At 3:45 a.m., Gary L. Hannold II, 41, was pulled over by Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies while attempting to leave a vacant property near the intersection of Sea Lion Drive and Mill Street in Mayville.
Hannold allegedly possessed an electronic stun gun and was detained. Deputies performed a search of the vehicle and reportedly found a second stun gun and 37 grams of methamphetamine, four grams of crack cocaine, over two ounces of marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials and a quantity of cash.
Hannold was charged with two counts third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
He was arraigned in the Town of Chautauqua Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
