Frewsburg Man Facing Multiple Felonies In PA Burglary

SUGAR GROVE, Pa.  — A Frewsburg man has been jailed on multiple felonies after his alleged involvement in a burglary in Pennsylvania earlier this month.

Police said Jamie Lee Condella, 39, was an accomplice to accused serial burglar Jamie Delbert Crick, 41, of Youngsville, Pa.,  the latter of whom has been charged with felony counts of burglary, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property.

The charges are the result a burglary on Jan. 6 on Samuelson Road in Sugar Grove Township, Pa. Pennsylvania State Police say they were called to the a residence on Samuelson Road for a report of a burglary that had occurred earlier that day. Upon arrival, police spoke with the victim of the crime.

The victim advised police that he had left for work at 5:30 a.m. and his wife had left at 7:45 a.m. When they returned home at 3 p.m., they had discovered that there were items missing from the residence, including an Xbox gaming system, various jewelry, an antique revolver, two rifles, I.D. cards, and cash.

Police allege that Crick and Condella were involved in the burglary.

According to police, Crick advised them that he had planned on burglarizing the residence on Samuelson Road, but Condella had “gotten to it first.” Crick told police that Condella called him on Jan. 6 and advised that he was at the residence alone. Crick then picked Condella up outside of the residence and they traveled together to Jamestown to attempt to pawn the stolen items.

Crick told police that they were able to sell the Xbox to an unknown individual outside of a pawn shop, and then sold the jewelry for $50. They attempted to sell the firearms, but were unable to.

As Crick and Condella were traveling down Second Street in Jamestown the following day, they were stopped by police for operating with a left brake light out on the vehicle. The vehicle was being operated by Crick, and Condella was in the passenger seat. Jamestown police ran a check on their drivers’ licenses, which revealed that Crick’s license was suspended in Pennsylvania. Crick was removed from the vehicle, and the vehicle later searched. The search provided police with the findings of a stamp bag of suspected heroin and three firearms. These firearms were identified as the three firearms that were reported stolen in the aforementioned burglary.

Crick and Condella were both taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance and a felony, not to possess firearms. Crick made bail, but was arrested again by Youngsville police last week.

State Police reported they contacted Condella on Tuesday in attempt to set up an interview. When asked to come in for an interview, Condella told police, “I already know what this is about, I had nothing to do with the guns. It was all Crick.”

Condella also told police via phone on Tuesday that he would come to the station for an interview on Wednesday. Condella failed to appear, and an arrest warrant was issued. He was apprehended Thursday.

Condella is being charged with a felony count of burglary-overnight accommodation, a felony count of conspiracy- burglary overnight accommodation, a felony count of theft by unlawful taking, and a felony count of receiving stolen property.

Condella’s bail was set at $50,000, while Crick’s was set for $100,000.
