UPDATE: Clymer Woman Injured After Car Strikes Home
ASHVILLE — A Clymer woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the car she was driving struck a home.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said 20-year-old Madison Styers was transported to UPMC Chautauqua after the crash shortly before noon at the intersection of Panama-Stedman and Baker roads.
An investigation found that Styers was southbound on Panama-Stedman Road when she lost control and struck a nearby property. No one was home at the time of the crash, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
Styers was issued traffic citations for speed not reasonable and prudent and unsafe tires.
The New York State Police and Ashville firefighters assisted at the scene Tuesday.
