(5:40 PM) Rollover Crash Leads To Impaired Driving Charges

NORTH HARMONY — A rollover crash in North Harmony resulted in impaired driving charges for a Pennsylvania man.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded Saturday around 6:30 p.m. to a reported crash with injury on Route 394. Following an investigation, deputies learned 25-year-old William E. Hospodor Jr. of Wexford, Pa., attempted to make a right-hand turn at a high rate of speed and lost control of his vehicle. Hospodor’s vehicle left the road and rolled into a ditch, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

Further investigation found Hospodor was allegedly driving while impaired by drugs and alcohol. He was taken into custody and arraigned in North Harmony Town Court on charges of driving while impaired by drugs/alcohol, speed not reasonable and prudent and failure to take a breath test. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
