(5 PM) Fredonia Man Faces Four Counts Of Second-Degree Rape
A Fredonia man is facing rape charges following an investigation.
An investigation was conducted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division into a report of a suspicious situation.
It was found that on various dates and times in March 2017, Joshua Northrop-Dowdall, 27, of Fredonia, allegedly engaged in sexual acts with a juvenile.
An arrest warrant was issued for Northrop-Dowdall, who was charged Monday on four counts of second-degree rape. He was arraigned in Chautauqua County Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 property bond.
