(1:56 PM) Fredonia Man Faces Charges After Search Warrant Served On Sheridan Business Friday

FREDONIA – Over the past several months the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Special Investigation Unit have conducted an investigation into a business located at 3491 East Main Road, Sheridan.

The investigation centered on the trafficking narcotics and stolen property. Drug task force agents and State Troopers served a search warrant issued by the Sheridan Town Court at the business at 11 a.m. Friday along with arrest warrants for the owner of the business, James L. Langendorfer. Langendorfer was charged with fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, third-degree auto stripping, criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree grand larceny, second-degree possession of a forged instrument and illegal possession of vehicle identification numbers.

During the course of the search warrant, officers allegedly seized a quantity of narcotics, marijuana and other contraband items.
