JHS Hosts Community Blood Drive

Jamestown High School student Gillian Mead shows a thumbs-up while giving blood at the school’s recent Blood Drive for the Community Blood Bank. The JHS Honor Society ran the drive with senior Sarah Pillittieri chairing the event. Jamestown High School school donated 64 units of blood, an increase of 14 units from last year. The JHS Honor Society, as well as students in the Career Development & Occupational Studies Program, conducted two weeks of sign ups and also worked during the Blood Drive.
