The Art of Recovery, an informal display of works created by Mental Health Association program participants, will be displayed in the Weeks Gallery lobby at Jamestown Community College from March 6-13.

Refreshments will be served during a reception from 6-8 p.m. on March 6.

The Mental Health Association, a peer-run organization, works with individuals who may be struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues.

It also works with individuals who may have a variety of other issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Drawings, masks, ceramics, knitted items, and poetry created by participants in Mental Health Association therapy sessions will be displayed in the exhibit. Students in JCC’s occupational therapy assistant program working as interns at the Mental Health Association assisted with the development of the exhibit.
