Clymer Students Go ‘Red For Women’

CLYMER — Students at Clymer Central School participated in “Go Red for Women” in association with the American Heart Association. The “Go Red for Women” campaign is designed to raise awareness regarding heart disease and stroke among women. Students recently lined up in the Clymer gymnasium dressed in red apparel equipped with signs displaying red heart designs. The district also participated in the AHA’s “Kids Heart Challenge” where students learn jump rope skills, learn about the heart and raise money. Through the campaign, Clymer raised $734 last year and is shooting for $800 this year.
