Ross Grange Group Meets
The August meeting of Ross Grange was held at the Falcon’s Nest Banquet Hall.
A discussion was held of suggestions projects for the next year. A report was given on the display booth at the County Fair. The title was “National Parks — America’s Treasure.” Ross placed third and received second place for educational value.
A letter of thanks was received from Dorothy Sprague in appreciation for her letters from State and National Grange presidents recognizing her 80 years of membership. Sprague now lives in Florida.
The charter was draped in memory of John Cheney. Opal Sprague and Betty Wakefield were appointed to write a resolution of respect.
The next meeting will be Monday, Sept. 10, with a tureen meal at 6 p.m.
Meat, beverage and table settings will be furnished.
