Boys And Girls Club To Hold Infant Swim Classes

The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys and Girls of Jamestown is registering participants for infant and toddler swim classes for children ages 6 months through 4 years of age.

The next eight-week session begins Monday, Sept. 10, and will be held Mondays through Nov. 5. There will be no classes on Columbus Day, Oct. 8.

The cost for the Infant Toddler Swim class is $30 per child. The program is designed for children under 5 and they must have an adult swim with them. Sessions are 30 minutes long. Classes are held at 9:15 a.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The first of five four-week sports leagues for 3- and 4-year-olds begins on Saturday, Sept. 29. The first session is Intro To Sports. Toddlers will be introduced to a variety of sports and general fitness skills. This session runs until Oct. 20. Classes are Saturdays from 9:30-10 a.m. Other sports to be offered include soccer, basketball, kickball and t-ball. The cost is $20 per session. A $5 one time a year registration fee is required and one T-shirt will be provided.
