Community Connections At Findley Lake Receives $8,500 Two-Year Grant

FINDLEY LAKE — The United Way of Southern Chautauqua County recently awarded a two-year grant of $8,500 to Community Connections at Findley Lake. The monies will be used for Membership Support which includes their database management software and funding for a new part-time Community Education Coordinator. Community Connections was awarded a two-year grant of $5,000 in 2016 by United Way which was used to purchase a database software program and begin the membership program by funding the Community Health Advocate.

Community Connections was awarded an additional $6,200 from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. This money will be used to support programming and communications.

Community Connections at Findley Lake is a private 501c3, not-for-profit corporation founded to give residents of Findley Lake and the surrounding communities both the practical means and confidence to live their lives to the fullest in their own homes as they grow older.
