Check Presented To Family Of Chautauqua Lake Student

Superintendent Ben Spitzer and principal Josh Liddell, standing at right, prepare to present a check for $4,757.49 to the family of Chautauqua Lake Central School seventh-grader Drake McKane, who is battling leukemia. The funds were raised at benefit girls’ basketball games and by the National Honor Society, who coordinated complementary fundraising efforts. Ready to accept the check are (seated) Drake’s father John McKane, Drake and his mother Debbie McKane, and his siblings Logan McKane and Dylan Hubbell.
