JHS Announces January Students Of The Month

Jamestown High School recently announced its students of the month for January. They are:

Nate Hill, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the son of Jenn and Paul Hill. Nate is a member of the JV football team and freshmen basketball team. Nate also enjoys volunteering at the Elks Club. In the future, Nate would like to study plant biology or social sciences at University at Buffalo.

Ayah Qadri, a sophomore at Jamestown High School and is the daughter of Sami and Diala Qadri. Ayah is in numerous clubs including Yearbook Club, Key Club, the morning announcements, and is the secretary of Astronomy Club and Chess Club. She was a member of the JHS girls soccer and tennis teams and she currently does snowboarding in Ski Club. Ayah has participated in the school Poetry Out Loud Competition and in the Optimist Oratorical Contest that occurred at the Boys and Girls Club. Outside of school, she does winter soccer for the Lakewood YMCA and does spring travel soccer for Southern Chautauqua United. In her future, she plans to dive deeper into chemistry and pharmaceutical studies at the University at Buffalo.

Christian Dolce, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the son of Anne and Tony Dolce. Christian is co-president of the Class of 2019 and is a member of the Boys Varsity cross country team and the Varsity vaseball team. Christian plays trombone in the concert band and is a member of the A Cappella Choir. Outside of school, Christian volunteers as a sixth-grade Sunday teacher at Holy Apostles Parish where he is also a member of the handbell choir.

Nicholas Beach, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the son of Jonathan and Paula Beach. Nicholas plays saxophone in concert band and sings bass in the A Cappella Choir. He is a member of Honor Society and the Quiz Bowl team. After graduation, Nicholas is planning to be an exchange student, through the Rotary Club, to Eastern Europe and the following year he will be attending Houghton College.
