League Of Women Voters To Hold Luncheon Wednesday

The League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County will hold a luncheon Wednesday at noon at the Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk.

The topic will be “The Climate Crisis and Its Solutions” and “The Health Impacts of Climate Change.” Speakers are Judi Lutz-Woods and Lisa Mertz

The event is an opportunity for members of the Chautauqua County community to learn about ways to support mitigation of climate change in Chautauqua County.

Lutz-Woods and Mertz attended Al Gore’s Climate Reality Leadership Corps Training in Pittsburgh in October. The Climate Reality Leadership Corps is committed to spreading awareness of the climate crisis and working for solutions. The Climate Reality Project offers training in climate science, communications.
