J. Anderson To Discuss Books At Ellington Farman Library

ELLINGTON — Local author J. Andersen will be at the Ellington Farman Library on Thursday from 6-7 p.m. to speak on her “Destiny by Design” trilogy. The first two books in the young adult genre series, “The Breeding Tree” and “The Gene Rift” have been published with the third book, “Legacy’s Impact” in contract.

Andersen has been a resident of Chautauqua County for most of her life and remembers having always wanted to write books. She believes that when people are meant to do something, it is ingrained in them at a young age. Andersen said she chose the young adult fiction genre after teaching secondary English for many years. Both books speak about a future world where “The Institute” will only allow perfect, genetically modified babies to survive.

The Ellington Farman Library is located at 760 Thornton Road, Ellington. For more information, call 287-2945.
