The national Boys and Girls Club of America Youth of the Month/Youth of the Year programs recognize members for outstanding attendance, participation and attitude.

For October 2017 the following members were recognized:

Art: A’Mylieon Thomas, first grade at Love Elementary School and daughter of Danielle Payne and Antonieo Thomas.

Game Room: Lanijah Bell, fourth grade at Fletcher Elementary School and daughter of Robert Bell.

Computer Room: Tiahjae Perez, fourth grade at Ring Elementary School and son of Samantha Sanchez and Tyler Perez.
