Election Day Dinner Served In Kennedy
Area residents came out to support the Kennedy Free Library at the Election Day dinner. Everyone enjoyed servings of ham, au gratin potatoes, corn and sweet potato casserole. The tough job was choosing from all the pies, cakes and other desserts created by volunteers. Over 100 dinners were sold. Some people bought extras to take home for another day. Friends of the Library were thankful for all the support shown by those attending. The tradition of meeting for a meal after casting a ballot is alive and well in the town of Poland.
