On Saturday, the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy will host a guided tour of its Bentley Nature Preserve on Bentley Avenue in Jamestown.

The tour will begin at 10 a.m. and last between 90 minutes and two hours. The 40-acre preserve has recently seen several new improvements such as the addition of an information kiosk as well as the installation of more than 300 feet of wooden foot bridges. Attendees will learn about the preserve’s landscape and history from Jonathon Townsend, conservancy land manager, who will serve as the tour guide.

The event is open to the public and is free for conservancy members, with a suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 per family donation for non-members. Those attending should dress for the weather.

Registration is appreciated but is not required. Those who want to attend can email with their name and phone number or call 664-2166 to register.
