Gena Bedrosian To Perform Solo Piano On Tuesday
WESTFIELD — Dr. Gena Bedrosian will present a solo piano program at the Patterson Library at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19.
The program will include classical works of the great composers and several hymn arrangements. Bedrosian’s early musical training included both organ and piano studies. She eventually earned scholarships which allowed her to further her musical training. Additionally, she has been a member of the Chautauqua Choir for more than 20 years.
Bedrosian is retired from a 36-year career as an emergency physician. She and her husband Gary split their time between Chautauqua and Naples, Fla., where she is a member of the Fort Myers Symphonic Master Singers and Moorings Presbyterian Church Choir. She also performs classical organ, piano, hand bells and sacred choral music in many venues in western New York and southwest Florida.
