Great Lakes Physician Practice Open House Set For Tuesday

Residents of Chautauqua County will get the chance to tour the inside of the newly renovated Great Lakes Physician Practice, JAMA-GLPP at a free open house from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday.

Located at the Riverwalk Center Medical Mall, 15 S. Main St., Jamestown, the community open house is an opportunity to meet the physicians, tour the new and renovated facilities, and get important information about health care.

“We are excited to introduce our doctors and showcase the new renovated facilities,” said Kelly McDonald, director of practice management, Great Lakes Physician Practice, JAMA-GLPP. “Guests will meet Dr. Ifeoma Igboeli, our new general surgeon; and family practice physicians, Kaitlin Mae Ames, DO; Robert Bailey, MD; Lioudmila Kaminiar, MD, and Dorcas Lacayo, MD; who have joined our family practice staff. These and other staff members are looking forward to meeting our residents. This is a great opportunity to get answers to your personal health questions and learn more about prevention and treatment options for a spectrum of health issues.”

Attendees can take a self-guided tour of the facilities including the UPMC Chautauqua WCA endoscopy and outpatient laboratory suites; tour Chautauqua Physical and Occupational Therapy’s therapy clinic and the Live Well Center; take advantage of free blood pressure screenings; and learn how to monitor blood pressure. Guests can learn CPR techniques courtesy of the Chautauqua County Health and Human Services Department. Body mass index measurements will also be offered.

Residents will receive a GLPP Med Bag that residents can take to his/her doctor’s appointments to organize medical papers, prescriptions and medications. For more information, call 488-1878.
