Boys And Girls Club To Host Breakfast Saturday

The adult members of the Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys and Girls Club of Jamestown are sponsoring the ninth annual pancake breakfast on Saturday at the club’s 62 Allen St. facility, serving from 8-11:30 a.m.

The breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, milk and coffee or tea along with all-you-can-eat pancakes. A bake sale will take place during the breakfast. Tickets for the breakfast are available in advance or at the door for $6 for ages 5 to 59, $5 for ages 60 and up and free for children ages 4 and under.

There will be a cash drawing, a basket giveaway with more than 50 different prizes and handmade quilts will be given away. Cash drawing tickets are $1 each, quilt tickets are $2 each and basket giveaway tickets will be sold at three for $1, 12 for $3 and 20 for $5.

A few special items will be given away at a cost of $1 a chance, including a Buffalo Sabres 2016-17 yearbook autographed by the Sabres team captain; a miniature Buffalo Bills helmet autographed by Preston Brown with a certificate of authenticity provided with the helmet; a colored 8-by-10 autographed photo of Pittsburgh Steeler Antonio Brown; and two special baskets valued at more than $100 each.

A sneak peek will be offered on Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. At the sneak peek breakfast tickets as well as tickets for all the drawings may be purchased. All giveaway tickets may be purchased on Friday and Saturday. All drawings will be held on Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m. and winners do not need to be present to win.

All proceeds from this annual event will benefit Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys and Girls Club youth programs The Boys and Girls Club is a United Way of Southern Chautauqua County community partner.
