Village Dance Studio’s Disney Dancers Announce Final Fundraisers

RANDOLPH — The Disney Dancers from Randolph’s Village Dance Studio are getting closer to their trip to Disney World this coming summer. To help defray some of the costs that come with this wonderful opportunity, they are planning a few fundraisers.

There will be a “Flapjack Fundraiser” on Saturday from 8-10 a.m. at the East Randolph United Methodist Church. The event is an “all you can eat” pancakes and sausage breakfast for only $6 per person, $3 for kids 5 and under, or buy a family ticket for only $20. Coffee, tea and juice will also be offered. Pre-sale tickets are available from any Disney dancer or they can be purchased at the door that morning.

The dancers are also selling raffle tickets at $5 a chance for someone to win a new wheelbarrow full of various beers, wine and liquor. The drawing will take place at halftime during Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 5, during their Super Bowl party at the American Legion. A special thank you to Randolph Hardware for the donation of the wheelbarrow. Ask any Disney Dancer for more information on buying a raffle ticket or a ticket to the Super Bowl party.

On Saturday, Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. – noon, the dancers will hold a “Can Drive” and be collecting returnable cans and bottles. The drive will be set up at the Randolph Redemption Center, but the dancers will come and get donated cans anytime.

Be sure to save this date. The Second Annual Color Dash 5k Fun Run and Chicken BBQ will take place on Saturday, May 6. This event was highly successful last year and everyone had a great time. The dancers are looking forward to doing it again. Watch for more information and registration forms in February.
