Chorus To Entertain Poland Seniors Dec. 21

The Select Chorus from Falconer Central School, under the direction of Ann Mogenham, will entertain the Town of Poland Seniors when they meet Dec. 21 at noon at the Kennedy Fire Hall. This will be the 31st year Ms. Mogenham has been coming to our December meeting with a choral group.

There will be a ham dinner catered by 3C’s at a cost of $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Call Sally Patchen at 487-9758 to make a reservation.Bob and Sally Canniff are the committee for the day. Guests and new members are always welcome. Members are reminded to bring an item for the auction and a non-perishable item for the Kennedy Food Pantry.

Thirty-two members gathered Nov. 16 for a turkey dinner catered by 3C’s. The committee was Karen and Terry Lincoln and Walt and Julie Heilman. Bob Canniff gave table grace, called the meeting to order, and led in the flag salute. Celebrating November birthdays were Helen Burch and Elaine Melquist. Val Nunn accompanied on the piano for group singing.

A fund raiser was held. The secretary and treasurer’s reports were accepted as read. Velma Jones was thanked for all of her efforts in securing programs for our group this year.
